BACK TO 1949 WITH PF FLYERS

May 9, 2011

This past Friday, Freeman’s Sporting Club and PF Flyers unveiled two reissued archival designs form PF Flyer’s 1949 catalog at the Club’s rustic spot above Freeman’s Restaurant on Rivington Street. The Taghkanic is named after the New York lakefront destination where Freeman’s Sporting Club members enjoy cooling off during the summer months, and resembles a saddle shoe. The Mohonk, a sleek update on a recreational canvas boot, was named for the FSC’s scenic escape zone in the Appalachian Mountains of New York. Both designs are available this summer at Freeman’s Sporting Club.
