BEST OF #NYFW: TIM HAMILTON

| September 9, 2011

Tim Hamilton revealed his latest men’s and women’s collections for Spring/Summer 2012 in a storefront space on Lispenard Street the other night, as fogged rolled through the room and videos of grainy, violent scenes played on television screens placed facing the street. The angst-ridden, vaguely cybergoth rendering of his usual moody aesthetic proved to be one of his simplest and most wearable yet, a sobering and solid continuation from Hamilton—aided in part by his incisive collaboration with fine artist Seth Price. A departure from the identifiable implementation of Ross Bleckner’s paintings in his prints for Fall/Winter 2011, Hamilton worked with Price on the lining of the pieces and also permitted him to copilot the fabric selection Check out some of our favorite looks.
