Bjork Makes A Talkie

Bjork releases her live extravaganza, Voltaic, tomorrow. Recorded on the two-year tour supporting 2007’s alternating thumping and mopey record Volta. At times, Volta was lackluster, but the songs thrived live. Bjork’s performances were an emotional assault in a rainbow blur of custom Bernhard Wilhelm, backed by an all-female 10-piece brass section, Chris Corsano, drummer from Lightning Bolt, and techno godfather Mark Bell.
