London-based Danish designer Astrid Andersen has combinded references to streetwear and sportswear with unconventional cuts for a unique vision of the contemporary man. Her installation, featuring street-cast boys mixed with models working out in a gym—wearing sportswear adorned with lace and other materials—was very impressive. While studying at the prestigious Royal College of Art, the designer was recognized by Brioni with their Creativity and Innovation Award in 2010, and in 2011 she was nominated for the Dansk Fashion Award for Danish Design Talent of the Year.
