First day on the road, and the rain welcomed us onto the Mall in DC. Sidling up on to a walkway in the shadow of the Washington memorial, we assembled our pop-up tent in the drizzling rain. It’s an experiment in general to see how willing people will be to discuss Iraq in a public space—and more so on a cold, wet Thursday. Read more of Nato’s commentary here.
