IN STANDARD FASHION

October 21, 2010

When you’re immersed in culture, you might as well create a book to add to the cultivation. The Standard decided to add to their graceful venture and publish their first book in conjunction with Damiani Editore and D.A.P. (Distributed Art Publishers) under an exclusive publishing imprint, et voila: “Standard Press.” Courtesy of author Andrew Kuo, the 200-page hardcover is entitled What Me Worry. With an introduction by New Yorker writer Kelefa Sanneh, the book is full of Kuo’a charts, paintings, photographs, installations, recipes and diary entries. Sounds like a visual memoir. Sadly, I will be in anticipation until the 1st of December when the text is released, but to dapper up the mood, there will be a celebration for the collaboration with a book signing and party at The Standard during Art Basel Miami. See you there!
