This week marks the return of everyone’s favorite alcoholic Catholic day of observance, St. Patrick’s Day, and there could be no better occasion upon which to—start your art collection? Yes, you read that correctly: this week, a limited edition signed, archival, inkjet print from artist Leo Fitzpatrick is up for sale on Exhibition A, the new streamlined collectors’ project and members-only site that encourages small-scale art purchases from major artists online. Past exhibitors have been Richard Phillips, Terence Koh, and also this week: Jon Kessler (pictured below). So if you are really looking to impress that special someone with your meta St. Paddy’s Day aptitude, try unveiling a new art acquisition in lieu of pounding those shamrock-green pints. Put a Mona Lisa smize and some art in your life.
