
Friday saw the opening of designer Johan Lindeberg’s new pop-up shop for his latest foray into luxury design, BLK DNM (pronounced “black denim”). Entitled POP 1, the store marks the first time the designs are available to purchase offline #IRL, in a convenient Soho location on Lafayette Street. In addition to housing the line, which ranges in price from as low as $29 to $2,295, the space will also serve as a downtown enclave for Lindeberg’s friends and family, a creative studio for the brand where Lindeberg will host screenings, salons, and product launches. “I want the BLK DNM store to be an inspiring environment with great creative energy,” Lindeberg says. “It was designed to manifest the BLK DNM culture. We are a downtown brand and our home is here.”
