VMAN Editor Elliott David’s photo journal from the men’s shows.
The fog in Milan this past fashion week was so low you felt inside it. It fused with the pollution and the jet lag and cloaked everyone in a sunken, whispery gray that occasionally slipped out of people’s mouths in little frozen breaths. It brought to the Fall aesthetic an actual sense of falling. Running from show to show, appointment to appointment, my camera shied away from any proper “coverage” of the shows, but, instead, like the fog, made its way inside so it could look back out. So basically I just took intuitive pictures of whatever. Enjoy.
