Technically Milan begins today, Saturday, with a full schedule, but last night Missoni hosted a presentation in a verdant garden. Wine, delicious food, lots of fresh grass and shrubs, and about sixteen models lined up in a row showing the world how to wear dazzling patterns like it’s nothing. A couple of the outfits—ones that involved layering with sportier, windbreaker-like jackets—felt particularly smart.
