“Mud and Milk” is an apt title for Francine Spiegel’s show at Deitch. Speigel seems inspired by grindhouse horror cinema, Little House on the Prairie, and maple syrup. The show’s opening featured a unique performance piece by Spiegel where she took her messy collages and, like Dr. Frankenstein, brought them to life. We sent star photographer Alex O’Neill to the opening to video the mayhem. More details after the jump
