New York cycling aesthetes GAGE+DESOTO have teamed up with NYC label Dead Flowers for a special edition collaborative t-shirt. “Dead Flowers typically works the skull motif into vintage rock and roll artwork to create iconic mashup images,” G+D’s Brett Cleaver says. “So we presented them with a classic TdF moment—Jacques Anquetil and Raymond Poulidor battling elbow to elbow up the Puy de Dôme on July 12, 1964.” The finished product is comfortable and conscious of style, yet also an inside reference for cycling aficionados.
