An abandoned building across from Jeffrey’s served as the venue for the debut collection from Korean/German designer Siki Im. Drawing inspiration from The Lord of the Flies, the presentation began with two drummers banging wildly in the middle of a darkened basement. When the models finally appeared at the extremities of the room, they wore clothes demonstrating an elegant grasp of architectural design and tailoring.
