Fashion week has descended upon us not like the picturesque fluttering of snow-so-pretty-you-forget-it’s-water we briefly experienced yesternight, but more like a snow machine-truck rolled off the ledge of a building heading for your skull. Finland’s Aku Raski, who goes by the guttural, borderline onomatopoeia name Huoatron, is slightly known for his remix of so-fucking-edgy M.I.A.’s track “Internet Connection.” But this track from his upcoming (April 24th) debut Cryptocracy (Last Gang Records) is the perfect song to get us into the Fashion Week mood, by which we mean totally manic, sweaty, thrashing, and full-on mechanical animals with our autonomic nervous systems going all like WHAM WHAM VRRRRRRRRR SHZZZZZKKKK MORREEEENOWWWWWWWWDETHKILLDETHKILLFASHIONFASHIONFASHION. Or something. Rev it up. It begins.
