…but you can’t take the Miami out of Miami. Which is to say: last weekend’s Grey Goose-helmed Soho House Miami sleepover was filled with sun, sand, extremely fit and tan people in the background, and endless Grey Goose vodka. Guests included Edward Norton, Carla Gugino, Alex Rodriguez, and Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul. A group dinner at Cecconi’s, the West Hollywood Italian eatery now open in the Miami hotel’s terrace, found more delicious food and wine and (of course) gallons of Grey Goose than the lot of us could handle, particularly the Stone Crab, which was so fresh and delicious it was stupid.
Perhaps one of the most ingenious features of the Grey Goose/Soho House collaboration is the “One While Changing” service, during which a team of in-house mixologists move from room to room during the dressing/pre-game hours (6-9pm) with a cocktail trolly, making Grey Goose beverages for guests. Buttoning up our shirts, getting ready for a night out, a cocktail in our hands, we couldn’t help but wonder: why didn’t we think of that? And then we realized, we’re really talking about the whole perfect experience.
